Event Terms And Conditions
These Event Terms and Conditions apply to your participation in and attendance at the Cheetah Signals 2019 event (the “Event”).
BY: (1) CLICKING A BOX INDICATING ACCEPTANCE, OR (2) OTHERWISE INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT AND ANY APPLICABLE TERMS, AS MAY BE INCLUDED OR REFERENCED HEREIN (COLLECTIVELY, THE “AGREEMENT”).
1. Registration Required
Name badges are required for access to the Event. This includes all sessions, networking and other functions held in conjunction with the Event.
Cheetah Digital, Inc. reserves the right, including without prior notice, to take any security measures it deems appropriate for the safety of attendees and participants. Name badges shall be worn at all times during the Event. Items prohibited at the Event include: firearms and other weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials. You will not bring or have in your possession any such items at any time during your attendance at the Event.
3. Event Code of Conduct
Cheetah Digital believes in equality for all. As such, Cheetah Digital is committed to creating an Event environment that is diverse, safe, and free from discrimination. As a result, all participants shall be subject to the Event Code of Conduct currently available here
4. Registration Approval
All registrations are subject to the approval of Cheetah Digital, Inc. and your registration category must be valid at both the time of registration and at the time of the Event.
Registration cancellation requests MUST be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds will be granted for any registration cancellation as follows:
Date of Cancellation
If cancelled by August 1, 2019
If cancelled after August 1, 2019 but on or before August 29, 2019
If cancelled on or after August 30, 2019
Substitutions are welcome. Please note that substitutions are only permissible if the substituting individual qualifies as a user of the Cheetah Digital products and/or Services.
If payment of any fees or charges is required, You may be asked to supply relevant information, such as your credit card number and its expiration date, your billing address and your shipping information. You represent that you have the right to use any such credit card, and by submitting such information to Cheetah Digital, you grant to Cheetah Digital the right to provide such information to third parties for purposes of facilitating payment transactions. You agree to pay all fees and charges incurred by You or on your behalf in connection with the Event, at the prices in effect and disclosed to you when such fees or charges are incurred. In addition, You are responsible for any applicable taxes to your transactions.
8. Limitation of Liability
You agree to release and hold Cheetah Digital, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their employees, agents, subcontractors, officers, and directors (collectively “Cheetah Digital”) harmless from any and all claims, demands and causes of action arising out of or relating to your participation in the Event and use of the meeting/conference space and lodging facilities. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability for Cheetah Digital, for all damages, losses and causes of action in connection with these terms or the Event, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, will be the Event registration fees, if any, paid by You for the Event.
9. Photography and Recordings
Photography and/or video recording of any booths at any time by any attendee/exhibitor personnel (other than recordings of its own booth by an exhibitor or its staff) is prohibited. Exceptions are made only when permission is obtained from Cheetah Digital, the exhibitor whose booth/product is being photographed/videotaped and all individuals appearing in the photograph or video.
By registering for the Event, you grant permission to Cheetah Digital to use your image in any photographs, videotape, motion picture or any other media taken by official Cheetah Digital show photographers and videographers during and in relation to the Event for any of Cheetah Digital’s publications, social media, advertising or promotional purposes whatsoever, in perpetuity throughout the world.
While Cheetah Digital has no means of managing opt out requests ahead of the event in connection with photos and videos, Cheetah Digital is committed to honoring requests to not use photos of individuals who wish to not have their photo used in promotional pieces to the best of our ability after the Event. If You see a photo of yourself being used and wish to have it omitted from future promotions, please contact email@example.com.
11. Privacy/Sharing of Registrant Information
12. Amendment of Policies, Terms and Conditions
Cheetah Digital reserves the right to amend these policies, terms and conditions from time to time. However, you will be subject to the policies, terms and conditions in force at the time you submit your registration.
• All attendees must be registered with a badge to attend the Event.
• All attendees must wear their Event badge to access any Event program.
• Media Badge: Individuals must be 18 years or older to register for an Event badge.
Badge Pick-up: Your confirmation receipt is required to pick-up your badge on-site. No badges will be mailed prior to the show. If you do not have your confirmation receipt, you will be required to present a valid photo ID.
Badge Reprint Fee: There will be a $50 badge reprint fee for lost or missing badges. Attendees requesting a badge reprint will be required to present a valid photo ID.
Badge Scanning: You may be asked to have your badge scanned at exhibit booths; please note scanning of your badge is entirely optional and voluntary. While the barcode on your badge does not itself contain personal information, if you allow your badge to be scanned at the Event by a sponsor or exhibitor, you are authorizing such sponsor or exhibitor to receive a report that includes participation and certain registration information about You. The scan also confirms your intent to receive communications from that sponsor or exhibitor. You will be subject to the communications and privacy policies of the exhibitors who scanned your badge and, if you chose to opt-out, you must do it with them directly. Cheetah Digital is not responsible for the privacy practices of any Event sponsor, exhibitor or other third party. Please contact the Event sponsor, exhibitor or other third party directly to learn more about its practices with respect to any information that it collects.
Badge sharing, splitting, duplicating or sale: The unauthorized resale or attempted resale of your badge is prohibited and will constitute a forfeiture of the badge without compensation. Your badge must be used only by You for each day of the Event. Each badge is a revocable license to attend the Event.
Badge sharing, splitting or duplicating is strictly prohibited. If You are found in violation of this policy You will have Your badge confiscated, and may be removed from the Event immediately and forfeit attendance eligibility in current and future years.
Event Code of Conduct
Event participants are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, courtesy and respect for others and maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times.
All attendees, speakers, organizers, volunteers, partners, vendors and staff are required to observe the following Code of Conduct.
Cheetah Digital is dedicated to providing a harassment-free Event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion. Cheetah Digital does not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.
All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for the Event.
Be kind to others. Do not insult or defame participants. Harassment in any form, sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not condoned at the Event.
Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the Event at the sole discretion of Cheetah Digital.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, derisive comments regarding technical background, and unwelcome sexual attention. Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior is also considered harassment.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, Cheetah Digital retains the right to take any actions to ensure the Event is a welcoming environment for all. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the Event with no refund.
If anyone makes you feel unsafe or unwelcome or if you observe situational discomfort of another, please report it as soon as possible.

When making a report, Cheetah Digital will give you the patience and respect you deserve. You will not be asked to confront any individual and all communications regarding such report will be confidential.
